This 14-day tour of Iran, covering the most remarkable and famous cities of the country, offers you an overview of its riches. You will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into Persia through numerous museums, tombs, mosques, and historical sites that have marked the history of Iran. This tour is perfect for tourists visiting Iran for the first time.

On this journey, you will discover Iran, the cradle of the most beautiful love stories, including the story of Shirin and Farhad. This charming experience will introduce you to the main works of Iranian culture, such as traditional music, folk dances, as well as the gastronomy and baking traditions of each region.

Our Program:

 

Day 1: Europe – Shiraz
FLIGHTS

 

Day 2: Shiraz
Arrival in Shiraz via Qatar Airways or Turkish Airlines flights. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in a luxury suite.

After breakfast, visit the historical landmarks of this city of great poets, philosophers, culture, and meditation. The city of orange trees, roses, nightingales, and love, you will appreciate its charm and atmosphere. Explore Shiraz: Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, Qajar Pavilion in Narandjestan, Bagh-e Eram and its famous botanical garden, Shah Cheragh Mausoleum (external visit), an important Shiite pilgrimage site. Walk past the Karim Khan Citadel in the heart of the historic city, then visit the Vakil Bazaar, its caravanserai, and the beautiful 18th-century mosque.

Day 3: Shiraz – Persepolis – Naqsh-e Rostam – Shiraz (2 hours – 120 km round trip)
Excursion to Persepolis, one of the largest archaeological sites, located 60 km from Shiraz, built by Darius the Great in 521-486 BC. Visit Naqsh-e Rostam, the imperial necropolis carved into the rock. On the way back, visit the tomb of Hafez, one of the masters of Persian thought.

Day 4: Shiraz – Neyriz – Kerman (7 hours – 560 km)
Departure to Kerman, with a stop in Neyriz to visit the 10th-century Friday Mosque. Lunch on the road.

Day 5: Kerman – Mahan – Rayen – Kerman (2 hours 30 minutes – 220 km round trip)
Excursion to Rayen, whose magnificent mudbrick citadel, built during the Sassanid dynasty, irresistibly resembles Bam. En route, stop at Mahan to admire the tomb of Shah Nematollah Vali, a 14th-century Sufi saint, and then visit the magnificent “Prince’s Garden” Shahzadeh, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6: Kerman – Zeyn-o-Din – Yazd (4 hours – 365 km)
After breakfast, explore Kerman: the large Ganj Ali Khan Caravanserai, its Hammam Museum. Then, on the way to Yazd, make a short stop at Zeyn-o-Din to visit one of the round caravanserais of the Safavid era. Arrival in Yazd in the evening.

Day 7: Yazd
A city associated with Zoroastrianism, it is a beautiful example of traditional desert architecture. It fell during the Arab invasion and represents an old historic center with small labyrinthine streets, ancient mudbrick houses, and wind towers. Visits: Towers of Silence, Fire Temple, Amir Chakhmaq Square and its Takiya theater, Water Museum, Dowlat-Abad Garden, the Governor’s Residence, Old City, Bazaar.

Day 8: Yazd – Meybod – Nain – Isfahan (3 hours 45 minutes – 320 km)
On the way to Isfahan, the first stop is in Meybod, the pottery town, to visit the Sassanid castle Narin and the Safavid caravanserai Abbasi. Continuing to Isfahan, make a second stop in Nain to visit the very old Friday Mosque. Arrival in Isfahan in the evening and check-in at the hotel.

Day 9: Isfahan
The morning is dedicated to exploring one of the most famous sites in the world, Naqsh-e Jahan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with three wonders of the world built during the reign of Shah Abbas I in the early 17th century. Visit the Shah Mosque, now called the Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and Ali Qapu Palace. In the afternoon, visit the fourth wonder facing the square: the covered bazaar.

Overnight in Isfahan.

A trip to Iran wouldn’t be complete without a stop in Isfahan, a city with more than 2500 years of civilization. With its rich history, it abounds with cultural and artistic treasures. It is no accident that it is called “Half the World” (Nesf-e Jahan, rhyming with Isfahan in Persian).

 

Day 10: Isfahan
The morning will be dedicated to visiting the Armenian quarter Jolfa and then visiting the Vank Cathedral (Saint Savior). In the afternoon, visit the Friday Mosque. Then, stroll along the Zayanderud River, where you will see the Khaju and Si-o-Seh Pol bridges. There are traditional tea houses here where you can stop.

Day 11: Isfahan – Abyaneh – Kashan (2 hours 20 minutes – 215 km)
On the way to Kashan, stop in the red earth village of Abyaneh, still inhabited by Zoroastrians. Take a walk through the village to admire the stunning views. Continue to Kashan and visit its bazaar. Overnight in Kashan.

 

Day 12: Kashan – Qom – Tehran (2 hours 45 minutes – 245 km)
Explore Kashan, once one of Iran’s most prosperous oases. Visit the Agha Bozorg Mosque and a traditional house, then the Bagh-e Fin Garden. Return to Tehran, with a brief stop in Qom for an overview of this sacred Shiite city.

Day 13: Tehran
Tehran, a beautiful, picturesque, and lively city located south of Damavand, the highest point of the Alborz mountain range. Your introduction to the capital starts with a visit to Golestan Palace, the oldest in the city, mostly built in the 19th century, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, and surrounding a luxurious park and museums. Then, visit the great Tehran Bazaar, the National Museum of Iran, the Glass and Ceramic Museum (Abgineh), housed in a beautiful 19th-century pavilion. After that, visit the Crown Jewels Museum (open only from Saturday to Tuesday from 14:00 to 16:30), a fairy-tale treasure featuring magnificent gemstones, raw or cut diamonds, and diadems with peacocks.

Overnight in Tehran.

 

Day 14: Tehran – Europe
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.

Return flight Tehran – Europe.

Registration and Rules:

Registration for this trip will be considered valid after written confirmation and payment by the participant of a 30% deposit of the total trip amount. An invoice detailing the payment method will be sent to you by email once you accept the offer. The remaining balance must be paid at least one month before the departure date, without any reminder from our side. If you register less than a month before the departure, you will be asked to make the full payment upon accepting the offer.

Cancellation by the Client: In case of cancellation by you (for any reason) more than 40 days before departure, the deposit amount paid will be refunded to you, except for a fixed amount of 50 EUR per person (application fees and bank charges).

After 40 days from the departure date, the following cancellation scale will apply:

  • From 40 to 22 days: 25% of the trip cost.

  • From 21 to 15 days: 50% of the trip cost.

  • From 14 to 8 days: 75% of the trip cost.

  • Less than 8 days: 100% of the trip cost.

Note: In case of cancellation on your part, please notify us as soon as possible by email or fax, as the date of receipt of the cancellation will be considered for calculating the refund.

Any trip that is interrupted or shortened by the participant for any reason will not be subject to a refund.

Cancellation by Roksi Sam Travel:

Cancellations may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (political unrest, security issues, etc.). In such cases, cancellation will be made by Roksi Sam Travel in full, but no additional compensation will be provided.
