In the Land of the Heavenly Mountains

Kyrgyzstan, the land of nomads, located in the heart of Central Asia, offers nearly unexplored mountains, a perfect playground for nature lovers and pristine lands.
The Kyrgyz people, who have managed to preserve their tradition of hospitality, live peacefully in diverse landscapes, making this country a gem of Central Asia: steppes, meadows, deserts, canyons, high-altitude valleys, and lakes with turquoise waters.
Day 1: Europe – Bishkek
Night flight.
Day 2: Bishkek
Arrival at Manas Airport and transfer to the “green” capital of Central Asia. Hotel check-in, short rest, and city tour: Dostuk Square, the Opera Theater, Oak Park, and the National Museum.
Lunch at the Jalal-Abad teahouse.
In the afternoon, visit and walk through Osh Market, the largest bazaar in the city, a blend of colors and scents.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at the “Ambassador” hotel or similar (760 m).
Day 3: Bishkek – Suusamyr Valley – Chychkan Valley (280 km)
In the morning, depart for Suusamyr, a beautiful highland pasture with rich grazing lands, where we’ll encounter numerous herds of cows and sheep. One of the most beautiful passes, Tuy Ashuu (3350 m), leads us to the wide Suusamyr Valley.
Lunch at this scenic spot, walk from yurt to yurt to learn about nomadic traditions and culture.
Continue through the Arabell Pass (3150 m) and descend into the lush Chychkan Valley.
Overnight at the former prime minister’s summer residence, now transformed into the “OSON” hotel.
Dinner and overnight at Oson Hotel.
Day 4: Chychkan – Kyrk Kyz Pass – Kyzyl Oy (250 km)
Breakfast.
Drive to Kyzyl Oy village. We’ll make a photo stop at Toktogul Reservoir, built in 1970 to cultivate cotton.
Continue through the central Tian Shan, passing dizzying passes with views of snowy peaks, mountain pastures, and sheep herds, showcasing the true beauty of Kyrgyzstan’s mountains.

Arrival in Kyzyl Oy, accommodation with local villagers, village walk.
Dinner and overnight with locals (1400 m).
Day 5: Kyzyl Oy – Kyzyl Korgon – Song-Kul (200 km)
Breakfast.
Drive towards Song-Kul Lake. On the way, stop at the impressive Kyzyl Korgon Canyon, famous for its colors and grandeur.
Visit a small waterfall hidden in the rocks.
Picnic on the way.
Pass through the Karakeche Pass (3384 m) and, in the final stretch, enjoy lush meadows before reaching Song-Kul Lake.
Arrival and overnight in yurts by the lake (3026 m).
Day 6: Day at Song-Kul Lake
Breakfast.
Short excursion around the lake, then drive 30 minutes to a waterfall at the base of the 33 Parrots Pass.
Walk to the waterfall, return to the lake, and enjoy a walk along the shore.
In the evening, enjoy traditional equestrian games such as Ulak Tartysh (buzkashi), Tiyin Enmei (catch the flag), Odarish (horse wrestling), and Kyz Kumanay (catch the girl).
Dinner and overnight in yurts.
Day 7: Song-Kul – MELS Pass – Tash-Rabat (180 km)
Breakfast.
Departure via the Moldo Ashu Pass (3202 m) to Tash-Rabat, a 15th-century caravanserai.
Travel through the wild Naryn River Valley, home to eagles, wolves, bears, and foxes.
Climb the beautiful MELS Pass (3300 m), with stunning views of the Naryn River canyon.
Picnic by the stream.
Arrival at Tash-Rabat, overnight in a yurt camp near the caravanserai (3500 m).
Day 8: Tash-Rabat – Naryn (130 km)
Breakfast.
Visit Tash-Rabat caravanserai, then enjoy the stunning landscapes around the area.
Drive to Naryn, stopping to visit the remains of the Koshoy Kurgan fortress and its history museum.
Explore Naryn’s art gallery and walk through the city and its bazaar.
Dinner and overnight at Khan-Tengri Hotel.
Day 9: Naryn – Tosor Pass – Tamga (220 km)
Early morning departure south toward Issyk-Kul Lake via Tosor Pass.
Enjoy breathtaking views of high mountain plateaus, forests, and river sources.
Picnic with a view of glaciers.
Drive over the highest pass of our journey, Tosor Pass (3850 m).
Arrive at Issyk-Kul Lake, enjoy a walk or swim (weather permitting).
Check-in at a guesthouse in Tamga.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Tamga – Jeti-Oguz – Karakol (150 km)
Breakfast.
Drive to Karakol, the capital of Eastern Kyrgyzstan. En route, visit the Jeti-Oguz Valley, famous for its red rock formations in the shape of bull heads, which gives it its name “Seven Bulls”.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Dungan Mosque (19th century), Holy Trinity Church (19th century), and Karakol bazaar.
Dinner and overnight at Green Yard Hotel or a similar hotel.
Day 11: Karakol – Cholpon-Ata
Breakfast.
Drive to Cholpon-Ata, with a visit to the Przewalski Museum along the way.
Upon arrival, visit the open-air petroglyph museum.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Check-in at the Karven 4 Seasons Hotel or a similar hotel.
Afternoon swim and relax by Issyk-Kul Lake on the hotel’s sandy beach.
Dinner and overnight at Karven 4 Seasons Hotel.
Day 12: Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek (300 km)
Breakfast.
Morning drive to Bishkek, with a stop at the Burana Minaret and its museum.
Arrival in Bishkek, check-in at the Ambassador Hotel or a similar hotel.
Free time.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 13: Bishkek – Europe
Transfer to the airport depending on the flight time. End of services

Registration and Rules: Registration for this trip will be confirmed after written confirmation and payment of a 30% deposit of the total trip cost. An invoice with the payment method will be sent to you by email once you accept the offer. The remaining amount must be paid one month before the departure date, without reminders from our side. If you register less than a month before departure, full payment will be required when accepting the offer.
Cancellation by the Client: If you cancel more than 40 days before departure, the amounts paid as a deposit will be refunded, minus a fixed fee of 50 euros per person (for application processing and bank charges).
Cancellations within 40 days of departure will result in the following penalties:
40 to 22 days before departure: 25% of the trip cost.
21 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost.
14 to 8 days before departure: 75% of the trip cost.
Less than 8 days before departure: 100% of the trip cost.
Please note: in case of cancellation, inform us as soon as possible by email or fax, as the date of cancellation receipt will be used to calculate the refund.
Any trip interrupted or shortened by the participant for any reason will not be reimbursed.
Cancellation by Roksi Sam Travel: Cancellation may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (political unrest, security issues, etc.). In such cases, Roksi Sam Travel will cancel the trip in full, but no other compensation will be provided.
