Kyrgyzstan, a land of nomads, located in the heart of Central Asia, offers virtually unexplored mountains, a wonderful playground for all nature lovers and untouched lands.
The Kyrgyz people, who have managed to preserve their tradition of hospitality, live peacefully in the landscapes of incredible diversity that make this country a gem of Central Asia: steppes, meadows, deserts, as well as canyons, high-altitude valleys, and lakes with turquoise waters.
We invite you to an unforgettable adventure in search of traces of Ella Mayar, a resident of Vale (Ella Mayar), who passed through here in 1932.
Day 1: Europe – Bishkek
Flight with Turkish Airlines to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Day 2: Bishkek – Cholpon-Ata (290 km, 4 hours drive): BLD
Meeting at Manas Airport and transfer to the “green” capital of Central Asia.
Rest at the hotel!
City tour: Dostyk Square, Opera Theatre, Oak Park. Lunch at a Jalal-Abad café, and in the afternoon, head to Cholpon-Ata, visiting the Burana Tower and the Ornok petroglyphs on the way. Arrival at the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul (the second-largest high-altitude lake in the world).
Overnight at the hotel.
Visit: City tour of Bishkek, Burana Tower, Ornok petroglyphs, Issyk-Kul beach walk.
Day 3: Cholpon-Ata – Karakol (250 km, 5 hours): BLD
Continue along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul to San-Tash in the Tupa Valley. Picnic in a picturesque valley with short walks along the stream. Arrival in Karakol.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Karakol – Kochkor (280 km, 5 hours): BLD
Visit: Przhevalsky Museum, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Dungan Mosque.
Then head to the Jeti-Oguz Canyon. Afterward, drive to Kochkor, visiting the crafts center with a mini-concert of Manashi.

Day 5: Kochkor – Jalpakbel Pass – Naryn (400 km, 7-8 hours): BLD
Drive to Sary Bulak. We follow a trail leading to the pass to swim in a hot spring. Afterward, in the afternoon, we follow the “Little” Naryn River to the “Grande.” Arrival in Naryn.
Overnight at the hotel.
Visit: Mountain landscapes, yaks herds, hot spring, Ekinaryn River.
Day 6: Ak-Talaa Valley – Moldo-Ashu Pass – Son Kul Lake (150 km, 4-5 hours): BLD
Early departure. Arrival at Son-Kul Lake through the Moldo-Ashu Pass, a Kyrgyzstan gem, a paradise for semi-nomadic people. Arrival at Son-Kul.
Taste dairy products and observe the lives of horses, men, women, and yurts. In the afternoon, watch Kyrgyz and Central Asian equestrian games (Ulak-Tartiv – Kyrgyz polo, Kyz-Kumay – catch the girl, Tyin-Emey – catch the coin on horseback, Odaryv – horse wrestling).
Overnight in a yurt.
Highlights: Equestrian games, Moldo-Ashu Pass.
Day 7: Son Kul Lake – Kara-Keche Pass – Jumgal Valley – Kyzyl-Oy Village (200 km): BLD
Descent through the Kara-Keche Pass. Passing by the coal mine. Arrival in Chayek, purchase fresh products for a picnic.
In the afternoon, arrive at Kyzyl-Oy Village. Walk around the village and meet locals.

Highlights: Kara-Keche Valley, Keukeumeren River, Kyzyl-Oy village walk.
Day 8: Kyzyl-Oy – Kyrk-Kyz Pass – Toluk Village – Toktogul Nature Reserve (160 km, 5-6 hours): BLD
Early departure. The road is difficult. We need to tackle two peaks at an altitude of 3400 meters. The trail is only used by shepherds. Picnic in the middle of the road. Descent to Toktogul Reservoir.

Day 9: Toktogul – Arslanbob (310 km, 5-6 hours): BLD
Continue along the paved road. Along the Naryn River, we head strictly south. Several hydropower plants are located along the Naryn River. Fergana Valley, cotton fields, farmers working under the scorching sun. The road turns towards the mountains. The walnut forest stretches over 60,000 hectares. Arrival in the village.
Overnight in a private home.
Highlights: Diverse landscape, walnut forest, open-pit salt mine.
Day 10: Arslanbob – Osh – Dostyk Border – Fergana (300 km, 5-6 hours): BLD
On the way, visit the treasures of Uzgen, the towers, and mausoleums of the 11th century. Follow the cotton fields and arrive in Osh, the ancient capital of Central Asia. Discover its vibrant bazaar and teahouses, try chachlyk (meat kebabs) or pilaf.
Visit the three-story yurt of Queen Kurmijan Datka, the ethnological museum, and walk up Solomon’s Mountain. Transfer to the border with Uzbekistan.
Warm welcome by the Uzbek team, continue the journey into Uzbekistan.
Arrival in Fergana, overnight at the hotel.
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 11: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Kokand – Tashkent: BLD
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the “Yodgorlik” factory where traditional ikat silk weaving is done. See all stages of silk production, from cocoon to fabric length.
Drive to Rishtan: Visit famous ceramic workshops. Then head to Kokand, the center of the Kokand Khanate founded in the 18th century.
Visit the palace of the last Khan of Kokand Khudoyar Khan, built in the late 19th century, Norbutabay Madrasah from the 17th century, and the Jami Mosque, the largest in the city.
Lunch in the city and drive to Tashkent via the Kamchik Pass.
Arrival in Tashkent in the evening.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Tashkent
Transfer to the international airport according to the schedule of return flights.

Registration and Rules
Registration for the trip will be confirmed upon written confirmation and payment of a deposit of 30% of the total trip cost. An invoice with payment details will be sent to you via email once you accept the offer. The remaining balance must be paid one month prior to departure, without reminders from our side. If you register less than a month before departure, full payment will be required upon accepting the offer.
Cancellation by the Client
In case of cancellation on your part (for any reason), more than 40 days before departure, the amounts paid as a deposit will be refunded to you, except for a fixed fee of 50 euros per person (application fee and bank charges).
Cancellation within 40 days before departure will result in the following fee schedule:
40 to 22 days before departure: 25% of the trip cost
21 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost
14 to 8 days before departure: 75% of the trip cost
Less than 8 days: 100% of the trip cost
Please note: In case of cancellation, kindly inform us as soon as possible by email or fax, as the cancellation date will be used to calculate the refund.
Any trip interrupted or shortened by the participant for any reason will not result in a refund.
Cancellation by Roksi Sam Travel
Cancellation may occur due to circumstances imposed and beyond our control (political unrest, safety issues, etc.). In such cases, cancellation will be made by Roksi Sam Travel in full, but no other compensation will be provided.
