This unique tour will take you on an exceptional journey through the legendary cities and allow you to discover the extraordinary historical heritage: located at the crossroads of Chinese, Indian, Persian, and European civilizations, Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand have, for centuries, been symbols of the splendor of the East, vibrant stages for caravans returning silk from China, shining cities with luxurious palaces, gardens, and grandeur. In this way, we will explore the Fergana Valley, known for its crafts and remarkable hospitality.
Day 1: EUROPE – ISTANBUL – FERGHANA
Arrival in Ferghana in the morning. Meeting with our guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: FERGHANA – MARHAMAT (Andijan Region) – KUVA – MARGILAN – FERGHANA
Our services begin today. We travel to the Marhamat region to meet the family of Dorboza Bobo, a famous tightrope walker in the country, who will warmly welcome us and show us his private botanical garden. Then, we will have the honor of participating in a tightrope walking show.
Next, visit the historical museum of Davani, an ancient state known for its heavenly horses. We also visit the Mingtepa ruins.
Afterwards, we continue to Margilan, the city of weavers, passing through Kuva to see Buddhist sites.
In Margilan, visit the “Yodgorlik” factory*, where traditional silk ikat weaving takes place. You will witness every stage of the silk production process, from the cocoon to the length of fabric.
Overnight in the Wine Garden hotel.
Day 3: FERGHANA – AVVAL VILLAGE – RISHTON
Visit to the vineyards and wine cellars with a tasting of local wines.
Excursion to the village of Avval, which has several hundred springs.
Lunch at a local teahouse, tasting the Rishton pilaf.
Continue to Rishton for a visit to local ceramic workshops.
Day 4: RISHTON – MEHRGOY LAVENDER PLANTATIONS – KOKAND – TASHKENT
Breakfast, then we head to Kokand via a lavender plantation. In Kokand, visit the palace of the last Khan of Kokand, Khudoyar Khan, and the 17th-century Norbutabay Madrasah.
Day 5: TASHKENT
Explore the capital of Uzbekistan, an important point on the “Silk Road.” Visit the Applied Arts Museum, located in a luxurious residence built in 1907, displaying traditional Uzbek crafts.
Continue the exploration at the Chorsu Bazaar and a visit to the unique subway of Tashkent.
Day 6: TASHKENT – SAMARKAND BY TRAIN
Morning transfer to Tashkent train station for the train to Samarkand.
Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world, rich in historical monuments, was proclaimed by UNESCO as a cultural crossroads.
Visit Registan Square and the three magnificent madrasahs: Ulugh Beg, Tilla-Kari, and Sherdor.
Day 7: SAMARKAND
Continue exploring Samarkand, including the Bibi-Khanym Mosque and the Siyob Bazaar.
Visit other historical sites such as the Ulugh Beg Observatory and Shah-i-Zinda necropolis.
Day 8: SAMARKAND – URGUT – SAMARKAND (50 km)
Day trip to the Urgut region, visiting the Chore-Chinor garden and the local market.
Return to Samarkand in the evening.
Day 9: SAMARKAND – GIDJDUVAN – BUKHARA (270 km)
On the way to Bukhara, stop at Gidjuvan to visit a traditional pottery factory.
In Bukhara, explore the Lyabi-Hauz ensemble and other historical sites such as the Nadiri Divanbegi Madrasah.
Day 10: BUKHARA
Visit the Poi-Kalon complex, including the Minaret, Mir-i-Arab Madrasah, and the great mosque. Continue exploring the city with visits to historical sites like the Ark Citadel and the Samanid Mausoleum.
Day 11: BUKHARA
Morning excursion to the Bahauddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum, a major pilgrimage site.
In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace Sitora-i-Mohi-Hossa.
Day 12: BUKHARA – KHIVA (480 km)
Drive through the Kyzil Kum desert to Khiva, arriving by evening for a city walk.
Day 13: KHIVA
Explore the Ichan-Kala, the old town of Khiva, full of well-restored monuments. Visit the Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah and Kalta Minaret, as well as the Kuhna Ark fortress.
Day 14: KHIVA – AYAZKALA – TOPRAK-KALA – KHIVA
Visit the ancient ruins of the Toprak-Kala fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Return to Khiva for an overnight stay.
Day 15: KHIVA – URGENCH – EUROPE
Depending on the flight time, transfer to Urgench International Airport for the flight to Europe.

Tips for the guide and driver (from 2 to 3 EUR per person per day)
Registration and Rules: Registration for this trip will be confirmed after written confirmation and payment of a deposit of 30% of the total trip cost. An invoice specifying the prepayment method will be sent to you by email after you accept the offer. The remaining balance must be paid one month before the departure date, without any reminder from our side. If you register less than one month before departure, full payment will be required upon acceptance of the offer.
Cancellation by the Client: In the case of cancellation by you (for any reason) more than 40 days before departure, the deposit amount will be refunded to you, except for a fixed fee of 50 EUR per person (application fee and bank charges).
After 40 days from departure, the following cancellation fee scale will apply:
From 40 to 22 days: 25% of the trip cost
From 21 to 15 days: 50% of the trip cost
From 14 to 8 days: 75% of the trip cost
Less than 8 days: 100% of the trip cost
Note: In case of cancellation, please inform us as soon as possible by email or fax, as the date of receiving the cancellation will be considered for refund calculation.
Any trip interrupted or shortened by the participant for any reason will not be subject to a refund.
Cancellation by Roksi Sam Travel: Cancellation may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (political unrest, safety issues, etc.). In such cases, Roksi Sam Travel will cancel the trip in full, but no other compensation will be provided.
